This is AWESOME! I’ve been searching around for a new flashlight – one that was durable, had several different functions, did not feel cheap… and lo and behold – this flashlight came up!

The flashlight is made out of aluminum – very sturdy and strong, has a good weight to it, doesn’t feel too heavy but just right. It is also the perfect round size – I was able to grip it easily and comfortably.
This comes with 3 different functions in terms of light (which you can switch to each function by pushing a small smooth rubberized button right on the black handle) – the tip of the flash light gives a strong white beam – that shines pretty darn far! Then you have the white wider beam – doesn’t shine as far but it lights up a wider area like if you were working on your car at night – you would need that function. Then a bonus for me – a flashing red light – mimics a flare in a way but less dangerous. Not to mention – it has a strong magnetic base on the bottom of the flashlight and I do mean STRONG! I was able to stick it on my refrigerator sideways and it held up with no problems at all!

You will need 3 AAA batteries for the flashlight which goes in the bottom (magnetic base) that screws off. Only thing I did not like about that is when you twist it off – you’re twisting metal against metal and it sends shivers up my spine! Kind of like when you scratch your nails on a chalkboard… eeeeee!!!!

I now keep this handy dandy flashlight in my car in the glove box for emergencies. I will be purchasing more in the near future to keep all over my house! Never know when you may lose power – this would just be perfect to light up your room (esp with the wide net light)

Measuring exactly 9 inches long, this Viisliam baton is a very useful and compact lighting tool, particularly in the event of a roadside emergency. It can stick to the side of the car or hood for emergency repairs or tire change, or stuck on top to signal distress or caution (or set on the ground). When stuck to the car, it can be rotated to point in the direction you need to illuminate. It’s small and light weight, so adhering to the side of the car isn’t a problem at all. I tested another car magnet flashlight that was just too heavy for the magnet and it slid if not attached carefully. Not so here! It stays where you stick it.

Just a small correction to the product description though. The magnet will not stick to “any metal surface”. It only works on ferrous metal (iron and steel). It won’t stick to non-ferrous metals like copper and aluminum, but I’m sure you know this from playing with magnets as a child.

Besides car use, the light can be kept for disaster preparedness/blackouts or just as a general purpose household light for dark basements, garden, or garage. The ring at the end of the light can be clipped to a belt, hook, or carabiner. As a work tool, the magnetic end can also be used to pick up tools, screws, bolts, etc. I was also able to pick up a can of beans and a salt shaker, as a test for the magnet strength.

For camping, it can be an important safety tool as well. It can be hung from a tent for general lighting, or in an emergency, flashed and waved as a baton. The light is visible from very far away.

The light uses a battery cage that takes 3 AAA batteries. The battery cap has a gasket and deep threads for added water resistance, so rain should be no problem for this baton.

Instructions are printed on the box, but you won’t need them. The single button design makes it very easy to use. One click for flashlight, two for the work light, three for red blinkers, and a fourth click to turn it off. You don’t have the ability to control brightness or focus the beam on the flashlight, but it was not designed to do these things. Those features would bring the light up past the $50 range.

The manufacturer offers a lifetime guarantee should anything happen to it. Please just don’t make any videos of yourself waving this around like a lightsabre making “whoom whoom” sounds.

This LED flashlight is a really nice piece to add to your cars emergency kit! It’s got all the bells and whistles you need. My husband would like me to purchase one for his car and I was thinking of getting one for all the parents cars as well. It’s magnetic which is great because often you need both hands free. It has a flashing red emergency light letting a passer by or a policeman know you are in need of assistance. A good old fashion regular flashlight head and it’s super lightweight for all it does! I recommend this for any household or cars emergency kit. Super satisfied customer and my 3 sons think it’s pretty awesome too!
